Intervals

2008-ongoing
A photographic study capturing ephemeral moments of environmental transition
Concept

Intervals considers the impermanence of the natural world through brief, transitional states—those moments that resist fixation. The project seeks to engage with time not as a linear sequence, but as a series of thresholds, where perception and phenomena momentarily align. These photographs do not aim to capture nature in stasis, but rather to recognise its continual becoming: light as it shifts, matter as it moves, environments as they dissolve and reconfigure. In attending to what is often peripheral or passing, the work reflects on the nature of attention itself, and the quiet complexity of environmental change.
